How to make an enchantment table

Enchantment Table

The Enchantment Table is a block used to imbue tools, armor, weapons, and Raw Materials with special abilities (ex. Silk Touch and Punch). To enchant them you must spend levels gained from Experience Orbs.

Crafting

To make the enchantment table you need to have collected 2 Diamonds, 4 Obsidian, and 1 Book. It is crafted as shown:

How to use

• To get a full level 30 enchant, the Enchantment Table must be placed in the middle of 15 Bookshelves.
• Next, you will notice 2 slots on the left side of the interface, the left slot is for your tool, while the right slot is where the Lapis Lazuli goes.
• While enchanting you will need the required amount of levels (amount shown in bottom right of each enchantment choice), and 3, 2 , or 1 Lapis Lazuli (depending on enchant), and lastly you will be told how many levels will be subtracted.

Special Effects

• When the Enchantment Table is placed near bookshelves, archaic characters will float from the bookshelves to the Enchantment Table, powering up the enchantments offered.
• While a player is standing near the Enchantment Table, the book on top is open, and will turn pages at random. When a player is not close, the book is closed and will rotate slowly.
