Professor Stephen Hawking will soon be going to space on his free seat on Virgin Galactic, well all thanks to Richard Branson‘s of the Virgin Galactic group. Lately in a conversation on Good Morning Britain, the well known physicist and cosmologist said in the conversation that “Richard Branson has offered me (Professor Stephen Hawking) a free seat on Virgin Galactic, and I (Professor Stephen Hawking) said yes to his offer immediately.” Well on the other hand, Virgin Galactic hopes to begin its commercial flights to outer space in the nearest future, but it has been hit with plenty of setbacks and complications coming from different bodies as the case may be.
However, Richard Branson has long been a full supporting fan of Professor Stephen Hawking’s work, saying back in the year 2015, he said “Professor Stephen Hawking is one out of the people I admire most in this our present world, he (Professor Stephen Hawking) is an undisputed genius who has opened our eyes to the many wonders of the universe, while also happening to be a very kind and infact a delightful man. He (Professor Stephen Hawking) is the only person I have given a free ticket with Virgin Galactic, and he (Professor Stephen Hawking) is signed up to fly as a Future Astronaut with us if his present health permits it.”
