What Is Indecent Dressing?
Before the Arabs and the Europeans first landed on the African continent, we were a naked people. We were free of the constraints of flowing garments and attires, our maidens walked around bearing their gracious bodies all out, wearing only two pieces of clothing, i.e one around the waist, covering from the hip to a little below their buttocks, and the other wound around the chest covering just their breasts. Sometimes their chests were left unclad, then beads of ivory and cowries around their waists and ankles which made their walk jingle with elating luscious graciousness.

Mr & Mrs Rumor, Please Change Your Ways! - A True Life Story

I am not a fan of rumors and I do not fan the embers either. Before you start a rumor, think about the damages it could cause, and before you spread one, think about the credibility of your source or sources.

An innocent woman was kidnapped and gruesomely murdered after her ransom was paid. Now her grieving family has become a target for gossip and public ridicule, one group claims that she was used for money rituals by her husband. ( It baffles me that people in the 21st century still believe in this kind of crap ), another group claims that her husband was too stingy to pay the ransom and that is why she was killed. ( " Igbos and their love for money ", is what I heard someone say ), another one claims she was killed by her stepson.
PS: She has no stepson.

Childhood to Adulthood - The Journey So Far.

Once upon a time, I could not wait to have it all figured out, University degree, a well-paying job, a house, sleek cars, a wife and kids, a life of my own...if you really know what am saying, those were the days. These days I just wish I was 7 years old again when my biggest struggle then was deciding between Tom and Jerry, Spongebob Squarepants, Mickey Mouse, Power Rangers or Pokemon.

The Facebook Fever, How Ignorant Are You? - A True Fact.

The Facebook Fever, How Ignorant Are You? - A True Fact.

Someone added me to one of those stupid rilegious Facebook groups without my notice or permission. I did not even know I was part of it till the admin posted one of those " type Amen and be blessed or ignore and be cursed " messages with the gruesome picture of a dead baby attached to it. That just set me right off TBH. A dead baby, really? Are people really that desperate for attention? " What twisted motherfcuker came up with something this sick? ", I asked myself. And for what? Just to get a few Facebook likes and comments.

Our University Education And Religion, Where Are We Going? - A True Fact
As a child, I had very high hopes for my university education, it was supposed to be the place where I would meet some of the greatest minds of my generation. Then I went to a Nigerian university and met a bunch of dumb wannabe ' PASTORpreneurs ' and their unbearably naive flock of ' SHEEPle '. Boy was I disappointed! Our schools are breeding grounds for extreme religiosity rather than extreme academics. In my school, there were no book clubs, no science clubs, no study groups; just fellowships.

Learn To Spare The Rod Sometimes - A True Life Story

I grew up in a very strict home, and my father used to be very strict and high handed. He never spared the rod. Growing up, I seldom saw my dad smile, he alway wore a stern look like he was always pissed at us. He would never play with us, compliment us when we did good or even have a normal conversation with us at all. The only time he talked to us was when he was asking questions, giving orders or scolding us. We could not be caught watching TV with him around, whenever we heard the sound of his car pull up, we would turn off the TV, stop whatever game we were playing, scurry off to our rooms and put up our best behavior.

The Tragedy About Most Nigerian Marriages Today

The Tragedy About Most Nigerian Marriages Today
The Tragedy About Most Nigerian Marriages Today

The Tragedy About Most Nigerian Marriages Today is that girls date the love of their lives but end up marrying someone else. I would really like us to take a moment to analyze the Nigerian girlfriend.

Just take a look at this scenario, Boy meets girl and they fall in love. He dreams of a happily ever after with her, He is sure in his heart that he is going to end up with the girl. But the girl does not see it the same way. Don't get me wrong, she loves him. But only as a boyfriend not as husband material. ( Honestly, I am still trying to figure out how that works ).

When a woman decides to get a divorce from her husband for any reason whatsoever in the Igbo land of Nigeria, tradition demands that she performs some certain rites of passage known as Izuchi'ahia Nwanyi (basically means " Returning Of Bride Price " ).

The Story " The Emperor's New Clothes " Hidden Lesson It Holds

I just found a new definition for religion in Hans Christian Andersenin's Fairy Tales Told for Children. Titled " The Emperor's New Clothes". This is a story a lot of us read in primary school but for the sake of those who may not remember or have not heard the story, let me give a brief narrative summary.
