As we all know, Instagram has always been all or nothing especially when it comes to boundary pushing photos and videos, is either they made it through the company’s censors, or they got removed from the service. But that is about to change right now with this post on Instagram To Begin Blurring "Sensitive" Posts Before You Even Get To See Them.

So without wasting much time, as we have it, starting soon, the Instagram app will begin to blur out pictures and videos that seems to contain “ Sensitive ” contents or materials as the case may be. So from the look of things, if an Instagram user reports a post or content and Instagram’s moderation team on the other hand agrees that the post or content reported is “ Sensitive ”, the reported content be it picture or video will appear blurred out and with a warning mark or signature on top of the conten reading: “ This photo contains sensitive content which some people may find offensive or disturbing.” So you will have to tap a button before seeing the post, Well as for me its not a bad idea at all.

Furthermore, Instagram did not made clear exactly what constitutes “ Sensitive Content ” and this has really brought to mind a big question to Instagram user, one may ask " What content can be considered as Sensitive ", To quickly as this question, Instagram said that the“ Sensitive Content ” are posts that “do not violate the Instagram guidelines” but are still considered in some way to be problematic. On the other hand, Instagram did say that the goal of blurring these “ Sensitive Contents ” or  posts is to basically “ build a safe environment ” for all its users.

Well, extra effort was put to reach out to Instagram for more clarification on what may be considered a Sensitive Content. Low and behold, Instagram did not say exactly when its users will start to see these blurred images or videos, so to you all Instagram users out there do keep a watch out.
