| Konga Launches Game Of Codes Developer Challenge Poster |
The well known Nigeria’s largest online shopping mall, by name Konga has just announced the launch of Game of Codes, which is basically a developer challenge for university students within Nigeria, and the best thing is that there are amazing prizes up for grabs.
The Game of Codes challenge is for students whom are currently studying in any Nigerian university/tertiary institution and have the ability to code as the case may be. The students must apply in groups (i.e minimum of 3 team members and maximum of 5) for the challenge by March 3, 2017.
So shortlisted teams will then be invited to Lagos state to present their projects on April 7 – 8, 2017. The winner of the Game of Codes will receive a total amount of ₦500,000 and a paid opportunity to work with some of Nigeria’s top engineers as the case may be. There will be prizes and goodies for the runners up of the Game of Codes developer challenge.
However this is not the first time Konga is organizing such a challenge for Nigerian students. Last year which was 2016, Konga organized a Software Developers Hackathon in Obafemi Awolowo University, here in Nigeria, rewarding winners with cash prizes and the opportunity to be mentored by its best software Engineers.
