Google has finally announced that it will be revealing the official name for Android N in a few weeks from now.
Back at Google I/O 2016, the company announced that it was accepting suggestions for the name of the soon to be released new Android operating system, and now that time period has ended.
Android N is going to be the (9th) ninth major version of the Android operating system and it will succeed the Android Marshmallow operating system (6.0) that was officially released in October 2015.
Android Marshmallow is currently on just 10% of Android phones as at June 2016, a 2.6 percent increase over the May figure of 7.5 percent with Android Lollipop having a total share of 35.4 percent of active Android device.
